Waiting Out Weather: I shot this picture from the cockpit of the first of 3 Midwest 717’s that filled the ramp at Omaha, NE in July, 2008. We’d all diverted to OMA after severe thunderstorms made it impossible to reach our intended destinations. After a few hours of waiting for the weather to pass, we all departed OMA, arriving at our destinations several hours late but safe.
